ALL SAINTS' CHURCH OVER THE HUSBANDRY GATE OF THE KYIV-PECHERSK LAVRA. 1696. Kyiv
The volumetric-spatial structure of the church follows traditions of folk wooden architecture. The quinquepartite structure, presenting an equilateral cross in plan, has a slender elegant form and is surmounted with five tall domes. The decorative treatment of the walls as well as the openwork carving of the iconostasis is a unique specimen of architectural and plastic treatment of form in Ukrainian Baroque architecture. After the repairs of 1906, the church interior was painted under e guidance of artist I. Izhakevyc.
